Yikes talk about a conundrum. As any cat pawrent will tell you, letting your cat child roam freely outside is terrifying. You never know if and when they will come back and in what condition. You have to simply have faith in their abilities to fend for themselves and that they will still see you as their food source. But that does not account for the hoomans of the world who can affect your cat’s life in a way that they are unable to escape or refuse. But when your cat simply cannot be contained to the indoor life there is little else you can do other than to let them go and hope that they shall return in the evening for dinner.

Well, at least that is a promising start to this catto being let outdoors. We cannot say that it is something that will last nor is it something to depend upon too much. After all, cats can change their minds in the twist of their tail. But a bit of routine and stability do go along way to building the kind of trust that helps us pawrents relax about our cats being outside. At least we have a set time and place to look forward to where our cat will come home.
